Gamified Learning Services(GLS) - Cookie policy

1.                     THE PURPOSE OF THIS COOKIE POLICY

The purpose of this policy is to inform the users of the GLS  of the storage of and access to data, including the use of cookies, on the users' smartphones or other IT equipment when using the app for playing the game.

2.                     WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a file that is stored on your computer, smartphone or other IT equipment when you visit a website or use an app. It makes it possible to recognise your IT equipment and collect information about the websites and functions that you use when you use the GLS.

Cookies can be divided into first-party cookies and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are cookies that the owner of the app stores and uses.

Third-party cookies are cookies that others than the actual owner of the app store and use.

3.                     WHEN YOU USE OUR Services

As a user of the GLS we offer 3 different technical services, The way we handle and operate services vary slightly depending on the services you utilize as part of your engaging learning experience.

3.1                  The Gamified Learning service APP

When you download and use the GLS APP, we will store, and have access to, the GLS and data on your device or other IT equipment in order for the games to work and to identify you as the user. The data are only available to us and are not shared with any third party. The data are necessary for the game to work.

3.2                  The Gamified learning Services WEB APP

When you download and use the GLS WEB APP , we will store, and have access to, the GLS and data on your device or other IT equipment in order for the games to work and to identify you as the user. The data are only available to us and are not shared with any third party. The data are necessary for the game to work.

3.3                  The Bitesized learning services

When you download and use the GLS, we will store, and have access to, the GLS and data on your smartphone or other IT equipment in order for the games to work and to identify you as the user.
The session-based Identity cookie. The data are necessary for the learning service to work.

When using the Bitesized learning elements the cookies from our sub processor is also active. But only the elements named in the section referencing “learners”. This can be found here. Privacy Policy

4.                     WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GLS?

The app has been developed and is owned by the consulting firm Implement Consulting Group.

5.                     COOKIES IN OUR APP

We store persistent cookies on your smartphone or other IT equipment when you log in to use the GLS. Persistent cookies will stay on your smartphone or IT equipment, also after you have closed the GLS. The purpose of these cookies is to identify you as the user of the GLS and get access to data about the games that you play.

6.                     ACCEPTANCE OF COOKIES IN OUR devices

When you use the GLS, you accept that we use cookies for login purposes and that we store data on your smartphone or other IT equipment for the game to work.

You can uninstall the GLS on your smartphone or other IT equipment at any time. In that case the GLS and all the data, including cookies, that are required for the game to work on your smartphone or other IT equipment will be deleted.
